Join our Puppy Class to build a strong foundation for your pup’s lifelong success! This course is designed for puppies under 1 year of age and covers essential skills and training to set your puppy up for a happy and well-behaved life.

Topics Covered:

• Potty Training: Effective methods to help your pup learn to go potty outside.
• Crate Training: Creating a positive association with the crate for safety and comfort.
• Place Training: Teaching your pup to settle in a specific spot, helping with calmness and focus.
• Boundaries: Establishing clear rules for your puppy to understand what’s acceptable behavior.
• Socializing: Exposing your puppy to new people, environments, and other dogs to build confidence and social skills.
• Building Confidence: Positive reinforcement techniques to encourage a well-adjusted and confident pup.
• Recall: Teaching your puppy to reliably come when called.
• Basic Commands: Sit, Stay, and other foundational obedience commands.

Strengthen your pup’s core skills and improve everyday interactions! This class is perfect for both new and existing clients who want to refine their dog’s basic training and focus on essential behaviors.

• Place: Teaching your dog to settle on a designated spot, helping with calmness and control.
• Recall: Strengthening your dog’s response to coming when called, even in distractions.
• Leash Walking: Improving loose-leash walking skills, making walks more enjoyable and controlled.

Whether you’re just starting or need a refresher, this class is designed to help your dog become a well-behaved pup in everyday situations.

Advanced Class

Take your dog’s skills to the next level with our Advanced Class! This class is designed for dogs who have already mastered the fundamentals and are ready to work in more challenging environments with higher levels of distraction. A minimum of one private session or completion of the Fundamentals Class is required to attend.

What We’ll Work On:

• Pass-Bys: Teaching your dog to remain calm and focused while walking past other dogs or distractions.
• Sending Away Off-Leash: Working on off-leash dogs approaching as you walk with you dog, learn what to do and how to manage this situation.
• Greeting Humans & Dogs: Properly greeting new people and dogs, teaching your dog good manners in social situations.
• Pack Walks: Strengthening group walking dynamics with multiple dogs and handlers, promoting calm, controlled behavior.
• Proper Play: Encouraging appropriate play with other dogs, ensuring safe and respectful interactions.
• Place Around Distractions: Practicing the “place” command while other dogs or distractions are present to reinforce focus.
• Public Outings: Depending on weather and conditions, we’ll take field trips to stores, parks, or downtown areas to work on real-world distractions and proper public behavior.

Requirements:

• Minimum of one private session or completion of Fundamentals Class.
• Dogs should be comfortable working around other dogs and people.
