Our Day Train Session offers a focused, hands-on approach to address specific behavioral challenges and strengthen your dog’s skills in real-world situations. Whether you’re working on greeting behavior, place command, leash reactivity, or exposure to distractions like skateboards, bikes, or public outings, this session is designed to provide targeted solutions.
What We Can Work On:
- Place Command & Calmness:
We’ll help solidify the Place command, teaching your dog to remain calm, composed, and in position even with distractions. This work will reinforce their ability to hold boundaries, ensuring they understand where it’s appropriate to be and when. - Leash Reactivity & Loose Leash Walking:
We’ll address leash reactivity and teach your dog to walk calmly on a loose leash, reducing pulling and helping them stay focused during walks, even in challenging environments. - Public Outings & Distractions:
Exposure to distractions such as skateboards, bikes, or busy public spaces is key to building your dog’s confidence and calmness. This session will teach them how to remain composed around these challenges. - Proper Greetings & Boundaries:
Your dog will learn how to greet others appropriately, both humans and dogs, without jumping or over-excitement. We will also work on reinforcing boundary-setting, helping your dog understand where and when certain behaviors are acceptable. - Pack Walks & Play with Boundaries:
We’ll focus on group walking sessions with other dogs, teaching your dog to maintain control and respect boundaries, whether in a social environment or during structured walks.
Session Details:
- Personalized Attention:
During the day, we will focus on one or two key areas that you want to improve. Due to limited time, this focused approach will allow us to lay a strong foundation for continued success at home. - Post-Session Review:
At the end of the day, we will conduct a 30-minute review session, which will include:- Detailed Videos showing the progress made during the training
- A Written Report summarizing the key areas worked on and providing at-home practice guidelines to continue reinforcing the skills learned.
- Prerequisite:
Please note that Day Training Sessions are exclusively available to individuals who have completed at least one private lesson. This ensures that we are building on the foundational training already established.
