February 15th (Sat) – Advanced Class

Timeline: 9am – 12pm

Take your dog’s skills to the next level with our Advanced Class! This class is designed for dogs who have already mastered the fundamentals and are ready to work in more challenging environments with higher levels of distraction. A minimum of one private session or completion of the Fundamentals Class is required to attend.

What We’ll Work On:

• Pass-Bys: Teaching your dog to remain calm and focused while walking past other dogs or distractions.
• Sending Away Off-Leash: Working on off-leash control and sending your dog to a designated spot at a distance.
• Greeting Humans & Dogs: Properly greeting new people and dogs, teaching your dog good manners in social situations.
• Pack Walks: Strengthening group walking dynamics with multiple dogs and handlers, promoting calm, controlled behavior.
• Proper Play: Encouraging appropriate play with other dogs, ensuring safe and respectful interactions.
• Place Around Distractions: Practicing the “place” command while other dogs or distractions are present to reinforce focus.
• Public Outings: Depending on weather and conditions, we’ll take field trips to stores, parks, or downtown areas to work on real-world distractions and proper public behavior.

Requirements:

• Minimum of one private session or completion of Fundamentals Class.
• Dogs should be comfortable working around other dogs and people.
